Grace UMCPrattville, AL
A church with no building of its own, and a website that has to do the work a building normally does.
The situation
Grace United Methodist Church worships at the Grandview YMCA in Millbrook, a rec center, not a sanctuary. There's no steeple to spot from the road and no sign to drive past. For a congregation like that, the website isn't a brochure; it's the building. If a first-time visitor can't confirm the address, the time, and that they're genuinely in the right place, they don't show up at a YMCA on a Sunday morning to find out.
What we did
We built the homepage around the two decisions a visitor actually makes: come this Sunday, or watch first. Service time and the full YMCA address sit in the first screen, right beside “Plan a Visit” and “Watch live / On Demand”, and nothing else competes with them. Beneath that, a full sermon archive lets someone hear Pastor Chris McCain before they ever walk in, an About page carries the congregation's mission and where they meet, and giving is handled online instead of depending on a plate being passed.
Where it stands
The site has been live, hosted, and maintained by Wesley AI for the past year. The sermon archive is current, with new services posted through the first Sunday of this month, which is the part that quietly fails on most church websites.
