About Wesley AI
Our Story
Wesley AI was born out of a simple realization: churches needed a faith-centered AI tool, but none existed. While building a church website, our founder, Mat Napp, noticed that every chatbot solution on the market lacked a theological foundation. From his Wesleyan perspective, Mat set out to build something new—an AI assistant designed specifically for United Methodist churches.
Mat also knew firsthand how difficult ministry can be when administrative work overshadows the heart of the calling. Answering the same questions over and over—about service times, beliefs, and events—keeps pastors from doing what they were called to do: minister to people. Wesley AI was created to change that.

Our Mission
Our mission is simple: give pastors back their time while helping churches connect with visitors 24/7.
What Makes Us Different
Unlike generic chatbot solutions, Wesley AI is:
Theologically trustworthy – Answers rooted in Wesleyan theology.
Customized for your church – Trained on your website, ministries, and events.
Affordable – Priced for small church budgets.
Fast and simple – Setup takes only minutes.
It’s one of the first AI chatbots designed for churches, created to help pastors and staff serve their communities without being buried by admin work.

For the past five years, he has focused on how AI can serve the church—believing it has the potential to transform ministry as profoundly as the printing press, television, and even the internet.
“Now is the time to bring the church into a new age.” – Mat Napp, Founder of Wesley AI
